ECO4ALL – EU Circular Economy Network for All (COST Action CA22124)
Foster Europe is involved as a Management Committee member in the ECO4ALL COST Action, a European cooperation network dedicated to strengthening the social and consumer-related dimensions of the circular economy.
ECO4ALL addresses the growing need for regional and cross-border collaboration to advance sustainable consumption, resource conservation and waste prevention—especially in light of the significant territorial disparities across Europe and beyond. The Action engages youth, academics, early-career researchers, public administration, the business sector and civil society in reflection and knowledge-sharing on a circular economy that works for consumers.
A key innovation of the project lies in its comprehensive approach: the circular economy is not viewed solely as an environmental or production-related topic but as a social behaviour that shapes decisions in governments, companies, communities and households. ECO4ALL emphasises responsible design, reuse and repair, and highlights the proactive role consumers must play to fully participate in circular processes.
The Action is funded by COST – the European Cooperation in Science and Technology, which supports open, interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder networks that drive research collaboration and innovation across Europe.
