The Participation Day in the Danube Strategy is a key element of the macro-regional governance structure of the EUSDR. The Participation Day is the civil society and local actor’s summit  and one of the main side-events of the annual political summit, the Annual Forum of the EUSDR.

In 2016 the Participation Day will be held on 2-3 November and the Annual Forum of the EUSDR on 3-4 November in Bratislava, Slovakia. The general theme of the 3rd Participation Day will be resilient sustainable development.
